GasBuddy, the smartphone app helping consumers avoid paying full price for fuel, has revealed consumer rankings for the fuel and convenience retailing industry in this new third quarter report card. We examined nearly 2 million ratings submitted by GasBuddy users between July 1 - September 30, 2019. The rankings examine retailers across five different number-of-location segments in the six categories, including: cleanliness, coffee, customer service, outdoor lighting, restrooms, and overall experience.
This report also continues the “Top 101 Fuel and Convenience Brands” list with Texas-based Buc-ee’s receiving the highest ratings overall in the GasBuddy app for the third consecutive quarter.
The Midwest has five fuel and convenience brands in the top 15 of GasBuddy’s ‘Top 101 Fuel and Convenience Brands’, making it the region in the U.S. with the most top-rated brands. The Midwest is followed by the Northeast, having four brands in the top 15.
Casey’s General Store (1,000+ locations), Twice Daily (50-249 locations) and Buc-ee’s (30-49 locations) captured top ratings in their respective segments in Q3 in all six categories.
